What Is Driver Door Module

The role of automotive door module is to provide intelligent and centralized control of the door and the electrical components around the door. Automotive door modules generally have two structures, one is switch-integrated and the other is motor-integrated.

To minimize EMC issues, the ATA6621 integrates a controlled slew rate function that complies with the LIN2.0 specification, and the receiver's input filter helps reduce RF interference on the bus signal. To meet the 42V power grid requirement, the bus output can withstand up to 60V short circuit.

Most of the functions of the door control module have already been integrated into the BCM.
