The tire pressure monitoring system calibration is to calibrate the tire pressure on the instrument after the tire pressure of the vehicle is replenished. The standard tire pressure specification value is 2.4-2.5bar, the tire pressure specification value is 2.8-2.9bar, and the maximum atmospheric pressure is not allowed to exceed 3.5bar.
Tire pressure monitoring system failure causes are as follows:
1, it may be that the tire leaks very slowly, the phenomenon of leakage is extremely not obvious, and the naked eye can not be observed. Usually when the alarm light is on, the driver will check the four tires of the car for the first time, if the phenomenon is not obvious, it will make the driver have an illusion; Tires need to be repaired or replaced;
2, the system failure, false alarm. For some reason, the sensor or receiver template is broken or the wiring is broken, resulting in incorrect tire pressure detection; Restart the vehicle or replace parts;
3, when the vehicle is driven for a long time, the temperature of the tire will become higher, due to the effect of thermal expansion and contraction, the tire pressure will also rise, if only with the naked eye observation, may not see what is abnormal. After the tire has cooled naturally, the tire pressure alarm can be automatically eliminated.
How Is The Tire Pressure Monitoring System Calibrated
The tire pressure monitoring system can be calibrated by multi-information display, which is simple and easy to operate.
(1) Operate the button at the lower right corner of the multi-function steering panel to calibrate the tire pressure monitoring system, and press the ▲ / ↓ button to select "Vehicle Settings".
(2) Press the SEL/RESET button, and "Tire pressure Monitoring System calibration" will appear on the multi-information display.
(3) Press SEL/RESET button to switch the display to the personalized setting interface, press ▲ / ↓ button to select "Calibration".
(4) Press the SEL/RESE Ding button, and the "calibration start" message will appear on the multi-information display and disappear after 2s
(1) Operate the button on the left side of the multi-function steering wheel to calibrate the tire pressure monitoring system, press the MENU button, press the + / - button to select "Vehicle Settings".
(2) Press the SOURCE button, and the information "Tire pressure Monitoring system calibration" will appear on the screen of the multifunctional integrated information display system.
(3) Press the SOURCE button, press the + / - button to select "Calibration".
(4) Press the SOURCE button, and the "Start calibration" message will appear at the bottom of the screen of the multifunctional integrated information display system and disappear after 2s.
Note:
After the above steps are completed, when the vehicle is driving normally on the road surface, the tire pressure monitoring will automatically correct, and the correction process will automatically end when certain conditions are reached and the driver will not be reminded. If the message "Calibration has not started" appears, repeat the preceding steps.
